Welcome to CECo

Professor Sheila Payne The Cancer Experiences Collaborative was a partnership between researchers, clinicians and other organisations that aimed to develop the quantity and quality of supportive and palliative care research with colleagues across the United Kingdom and to build research capacity. It was funded from 2006-2012 and has enabled research to be developed from initial ideas, to be fostered and to grow; and we are pleased to see so many projects flourish over the last six years. Our research has directly improved the lives of cancer patients and their families, and continues to influence policy and practice. Due to a generous donation from a bereaved family member whose partner died from cancer, the CECo website will be maintained until April 2013.
